Ever since Iffy got an iPod Shuffle at the local Best Buy last weekend, I've been considering stopping by and seeing if there were still units available. Tonight I stopped by. There were still units available. I am now the proud new owner of a 512 MB iPod Shuffle. Nice.

[Imported comment* originally authored by Chris.] seriously that is pretty tooley, and don't the ipods fail to play a variety of audio formats that most other players can handle?
[Imported comment* originally authored by Chris.] Also, I have an RCA lyra with a 1 gig sd card and I bet its about the same size (volume-wize)
[Imported comment* originally authored by Travis.] It plays (at least) MP3 and AAC. My entire music collection is in MP3 so its lack of WMA support is a non-issue to me. I'm in the process of rating my music using iTunes's starring, so I tell iTunes to grab a random selection of my favorite music and fill up the Shuffle. Yes, I'm a yuppie tool...but it's pretty sweet.
